What is a fair price for car repair or maintenance?

This site has two objectives . . . For the car owner it provides
insight on how to get your car serviced and/or repaired by a
competant shop at a fair price. For the shop owner or dealership
it provides some ideas on customer retention and why it is the
most effective way to improve your bottom line.
